3 Things You Might Not Know About Me (That Raise the Bar for Your Brand)

When people find me, they’re usually looking for a brand or website that feels calm, clear, and beautifully aligned with their values. But what they often don’t know is that my work is deeply shaped by the journey that brought me here. One that weaves together creativity, wellness, and a love for human connection.

So today, I wanted to share a few things you might not know about me — and why they might just be the reason we’ll work so well together. Let’s get into it!

1. MY JOURNEY STARTED WITH ART — AND TOOK A TURN INTO HOLISTIC HEALTH 🎨

I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. Art was my first language, and it’s what led me to study scientific and technical illustration at Sheridan College. But like many of us in the wellness space, my path wasn’t linear. Years later, after facing some of my own health challenges, I decided to go back to school — this time at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition.

That decision changed everything. I experienced firsthand what lifestyle changes could do for my health, and I imagined what it could do for others. I wanted to help people — and that’s when I started building my own wellness brand. What surprised me most? How much I loved the creative process. Branding, website design, visuals — it all came alive again in a new, meaningful way. Before long, I was being asked to help others with their own branding and design. I said yes… and never looked back.

How this helps you:
I know how personal and vulnerable it is to build a wellness business from the ground up. I’ve been there. I speak the language, I understand the mission — and I’m here to help you bring it all to life with clarity, warmth, and creativity.

2. CREATIVITY ISN’T JUST MY JOB — IT’S HOW I LIVE 🖌️

Crochet is just one of the ways I express creativity outside of design. I also love baking, watercolour painting, and making jewelry — anything that lets me work with my hands, slow down, and be fully present in the process.

Each creative outlet brings something different to how I approach branding. Watercolour teaches softness and flow. Baking brings a sense of structure, timing, and rhythm. Crochet and jewelry-making hone patience and detail. All of these crafts connect me back to the joy of creating — and that energy carries into every design project I take on.

How this helps you: I bring the same care, thoughtfulness, and artistry into your brand as I do into anything I make by hand. That means your visuals won’t just be technically sound — they’ll feel considered, personal, and crafted with soul.

3. NATURE INSPIRES EVERYTHING I CREATE 🌺

I turn to nature constantly for creative direction — in the shapes, the colours, the textures, and the way everything has a purpose without needing to shout. Nature reminds me that design doesn’t need to be loud or flashy to be effective — it just needs to feel true.

This is why my work tends to have a calm, earthy, grounded aesthetic. I want your brand to feel like a space your clients can breathe in — not just something they scroll past. Whether it’s a natural colour palette, clean and spacious layouts, or visuals that evoke clarity and care, I design with the intention of creating real connection.

How this helps you:
Your brand won’t just look professional — it’ll feel inviting, warm, and aligned with your mission to help others heal, grow, and thrive.
